The former assistant of Madame Torrente has taken over the collection, and there was definitely a younger feel to the clothes. A motorcycle sensitivity to the leathers that Madame once cut into flowers and leaves stood out as a major change---but a good one. Fashionlines receives so many requests for motorcycle style clothes that we know there are even couture clients lusting for them. So Mr. Josse has made a great choice. The clothes are always beautiful at Torrente, and Mr. Josse's collection did not deviate from beauty and refinement. Little "streetwear" items like the knit caps (made a little less streetwear when pinned with the ravishing brooches of on aura tout vu) and the wedding dress with "sweater top" added youth and vigor to this successful debut collection.
