CHRISTOPHE JOSSE, COLLECTION COUTURE PRINTEMPS-ETE 2006
By Margaret Pluvinage
The collection of Christophe Josse was all about a springtime wedding in Paris. A white crocheted halter dress tied around the waist with a green satin ribbon and a jeweled flower topped with a bolero in white poplin would make any woman dream of romance. A beige suede jacket embroidered with white silk organza muguet des bois paired with a pale green satin dress evoked a sense of romance so compelling you could almost smell the flower after a light spring rain. This collection was short and sweet, the models evoked a baby doll quality, and the clothes were sophisticated. Christophe Josse is a couturier that knows how to make the most of sexy and elegant. The transparency of the fabrics and the refined tailoring details made for a perfect love match!
