The new Basso & Brooke collection unveiled in the neighborhood of the London Dungeon proved to be worthy of the chilling venue. By starting the show with a top hat, slashed redingote and fluorescent green ‘Matrix’ leggings ensemble; the eccentric duo heralded an ultramodern collection, designed for urban necromongers. The line’s motherboard/futurama print story, dubbed “New Discoveries”, was quite the sensory roller coaster ride, you wish you never took.

Nipped blazers, Victorian sleeve tops, silk dresses, cape & trench hybrid coats and cowl neck hoodies were the strange visions Bruno Basso and Christopher Brooke translated into fabric and form. Perhaps best suited for Neo’s beloved Trinity, fighting against the machines in an alternative reality, these clothes will look too costumey for any blood and flesh human.
