Basso and Brooke If you were shopping for an ornate headdress, Basso and Brooke would be the place to start — plastic wrap, billowing tulle, a rectangular witches brew of gold. The clothes were full of busy prints that ranged from a pattern which looked like out of focus pixels, to another with images of leaping stallions. A few pieces were sublime (a runched plastic cape that shimmered with delicate folds), while most were weighted down (a featherweight mousseline evening dress choked by heavy silver embroidery). < London Main Menu |
