The house of Jean-Louis Scherrer has a lot of international clients, and the suave and handsome Stephane Rolland, who seems to become more gorgeous himself each season, does not let his ladies down. The likes of Ivana Trump and couture uber-client Suzanne Saperstein sat in the front row nodding in approval and marking their programs for the magnificently embroidered and stone encrusted boleros, Spencer jackets and gowns. Mr. Rolland has always taken inspiration from gangsters and turbaned women, and showed the look this season. He added a gold sequined boxing jacket over a sheer lace gown for some sparkle. His ladies may not have seen the humor, but they loved it just the same.
