NONY'S OZ

LA, October 25 - Nony Tochterman, the pink haired bubbly designer of Petro Zillia’s trademark retro-optimistic creations, found the inspiration for her new collection in the ultra positive ragtime rock music of a cleaver duo called "The Ditty Bops." Bopping her head to rhythm of the infectious tune, "Wishful Thinking" the ever jubilant Nony dreamed up a rainbow of delightfully charming, explosively colorful and unapologetically buoyant clothes, one would expect Mary Poppins to pull out of her enchanted bag.
Petro Zillia’s bubblegum flavored pieces that brim with the unstoppable energy of cheerful ecstasy bring back memories of malt shops, juke boxes, gym dances and the coy giggles of the good girls next door. Cast in candy stripe colors these silk chiffon blouses, plaid short sleeve tailored jackets, cuffed pants, Bermuda shorts, party dresses and cowl neck knit tops urge us to banish cynicism, doubt and gloom from our lives. After all tomorrow is a brand a new day full of welcome surprises and long awaited opportunities. Why not greet it in an adorable cream floral intarsia knit worn over a flirty floral mini adorned with ruffles and pompoms?
