By Christine Suppes

Maurizio Galante’s signature is luxury denim and a special loose woven fabric that drapes naturally and flatters the body. This season, Mr. Galante upped the ante, and presented one of the most beautiful collections of the season. He included crystal embroidered denim suits and loose woven day dresses, but surprised and pleased us with his tangerine evening collection of gowns, capes and especially an evening coat embroidered inside with white organza petals. This is a designer to watch.
