PARIS, January
30 - Bernhard Willhelm's show consisted of ethnic caftans in resplendent
gold-chained brocade, lamé capes and jackets, and
usually cut knee-length puffed shorts and jogging suits. Jeans laced
up the side with blue strings, and leather bomber jackets were notable
for their intricate workmanship. The black, non-professional models
seemed to be enjoying the moment, as were many a bleary-eyed fashion
editor, late Sunday night.
