Consuelo Castiglioni creates effortlessly charming, endearingly slapdash clothes for Marni. Achieving this signature look entails; layering, mixing and mismatching-- followed by some more layering. Throw on a fuchsia jersey ruched dress over a pair of yellow checkered Capris and top it all off with a pistachio colored midi length duster coat, belted around the waist. If not try on an egg shaped silver skirt matched with a shrunken cardigan tied around the waist with a piece of string or old ribbon. The key is capturing an at ease bohemian aura, defined by a fun assortment of clothes that look as if they were tailored by a cheery teenager taking home economics classes. Don’t even bother to brush your hair because the, "I just rolled out of bed" appearance is what makes it all work. It is all about being unapologetically comfortable, daringly inventive and buoyantly intellectual. Indeed these clothes are what one would expect a modern day, Sylvia Plath, bubbling with Prozac induced bliss, to wear.
