Sao Paulo Fashion Week - 17th Edition
By Rogerio Mesquita
Sao Paulo is a city of diversity and opportunities, a space where people share and produce their realities. It is a city that means production--- a particular world inside another world that is the country of Brazil.
The city numbers are impressive: second biggest gross production of the country, 77,342 companies, the biggest business, financial and administrative center of Latin America. It is home for over 400 multinational companies. It's the biggest market in Latin America with 35 billion dollars of annual income, 82% above the national average. 150 thousand small businesses respond to 17% of the national sales. 12,500 restaurants, second biggest privately owned helicopter squad in the world (only losing to New York), 246 events per day, 120 museums and 50 art galleries. In short, Sao Paulo is a taste of the world with a Brazilian face.
The natural beauty is amazing and translates into charm and charisma. Being beautiful without being aware of it is what brings THE something special to them. After you see these girls and talk to them, you leave backstage with the answers to why the fashion world and most photographers die for them and why so many supermodels today are Brazilian. And if you meet the new faces of Brazil you will have no doubt that Brazilian women will be among the top for years to come.
