Shimada Crowd Pleasers

PARIS, March 5, 2005 - Trills and frills were on Junko Shimada's mind as ruffles dripped down tops, circled coats, and multiplied in layers upon layers, spreading in all directions like whipped cream on a chocolate sundae. Elsewhere, several beautiful gems were shining - as in a satin apricot-colored strapless dress, or knit tops paired with silk shorts. Throw in a fluffy white coat or two, and you come out with a large and diverse collection.
