Fashion Babylon

More of a fashion spectacle than a commentary on beautifully constructed clothes, Grey Ant put on a fun and flamboyant exhibition. Grant Krajecki’s collection was a journey through various pop cultural landmarks of the late twentieth century, from Jane Fonda-inspired aerobic gear to derrière-grinding hip hop fashions worthy of a Sir Mix-a-Lot video. Theatrically entertaining yet not entirely cohesive, this collection was a treat for sense but not for sensibility.
