Rock On

This season, “rock stars and their muses” were the inspiration for Sheri Bodell. The non-conformist designer’s new collection highlighted sexy embellished separates, as well as opulent furs. Ever unafraid to make a bold statement, Ms. Bodell cut exaggerated volumes out of luxurious materials like velvet, leather, shearing, and Mongolian hide for this autumn. Finally, enhancing her creations with irreverent studs and metal accents, Sheri made her case for rock & roll glam. Standouts in the collection were tailored jackets with stand collars and ruche details, off the shoulder asymmetrical loose bodice dresses, and tailored pelt coats belted at the waist.
