Christian Lacroix Couture today, the famed French couturier announced
that he would stay with the house that carries his name. His possible
departure had been the subject of speculation ever since the house

According to the release, M. Lacroix "will continue to design
the Haute Couture collection, the next show scheduled for July 7, 2005,
as well as all Ready-to-Wear lines and accessories."
For their part, the Falic family "confirms their intention to develop the label
in the short term, notably in the American market, and to consolidate its presence
in Japan (where Christian Lacroix already operates 30 boutiques and corners)
 as well as in Korea."
