Bee Season
Rebecca Beeson’s autumn collection
parades frou-frou attire which channels spring’s bubbly exuberance.
Even the fur pieces carry the season’s optimism. Indeed, in
Los Angles where ladies can comfortably wear beaded jersey camisoles,
light knit tops slashed at the yokes, and midriff bearing hoodies
in February, summery fashions work all year around. Accessorized
by adorable berets, seashell belts, newsboy caps and big hoop earrings
Beeson’s
urban chic pieces are just right for young fashionistas with a
penchant for color and casual panache.
The stronger pieces in this
collection were wide legged cuffed wool trousers, fur bomber jackets,
and cashmere polo neck cardigans. Striking the right blend of hipster
cool and youthful elegance, these creations stood out, for they
were not confined by a purely Californian sensibility. Beeson’s
pelt vests and tailored pants have what it takes to cross the border
over to new destinations.
