Dinnigan’s Hemisphere

PARIS, March 7, 2005 - Winter down under must be substantially milder than it is in the Northern Hemisphere. At least that's the impression Australian designer Collette Dinnigan gave when she sent out a light, whimsical collection of mousseline flowing in chartreuse, peach and pastels. Her Sunday afternoon show even included gauzy black overlay. The collection was balanced to include empire dresses tied up with buckles and a set of floral prints, but it was in the eveningwear that the designer showed off her strongest point - meticulous draping.
